An English Garden Landscape Renovation in Cincinnati

On vacation in Australia, our clients fell in love with a reproduction English garden on the grounds of a bed and breakfast they visited. They could imagine the formal garden re-created at their home back in Ohio.

Fortunately, they were able to reach the garden’s architect and secure the original plans. Then they reached out to us at Seiler’s Landscaping to bring a bit of English charm to their Westside home. We, of course, jumped at the opportunity to work on such a distinctive project.

Landscape Renovation with an English Accent

Following the original design down to the inch, we planned walls, garden paths, steps and pergolas for the garden’s structure. The plants we choose will match the original as closely as possible, keeping our Cincinnati climate in mind.

A focal point of the original 6,600-square-foot garden is a three-tier fountain. Renaissance Garden Ornament, located in Oakley reproduced that fountain for our clients’ new garden.  Here are some photos of the landscape renovation taking shape:

We’re thrilled our clients asked us to recreate a formal, European garden for them. In our next post, we’ll take you behind the scenes with even more construction process photos.
